     Hi! I’m Rachel, the owner of Daisy Sews. I make and sell quality handmade bags and gifts that are cute and practical. I was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana. In June 2026, my husband and I got married and we made the cross country road trip to move to his duty station in Texas. I attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana and then taught high school math for two years in a rural MT town outside of Billings.

     After becoming a military spouse, I realized how important it would be to have a job that could move with me and my family. I loved teaching but struggled with the challenges in the education system. I have always loved crafting and started sewing after years of first learning. My grandma gave me her sewing machine and I started experimenting making toiletry bags. My dog Daisy kept me company as I relearned how to sew and thus began “Daisy Sews.”
